Technical details of a Taiwanese power system stress test using a new power system analysis program for renewable-energy-dominated systems

This document provides a brief overview of how “RedPSA,” a power system analysis program for renewable-energy-dominated systems, performs resource dispatch and steady-state power flow analysis. The program has been validated and applied in a stress test of the Taiwanese power system by 2035. This document also briefly explains the data-collection and data-processing procedures used in the study.
