BVC Scientifica Material
Description
These are images from the Fractal preprint (https://doi.org/10.64898/2026.03.05.709921) selected for the 2026 Scientifica (https://scientifica.ch/scientifica/scientifica-2026/) for public outreach activities. They are human pluripotent stem cells with stainings for DAPI (DNA), Lamin B1 (nuclear envelope) and nanog (stemness marker).
2 formats are available:
- High-resolution PDFs for printing
- An OME-Zarr with all the regions for printing available in the "scientifica_ROI_table_v3" ROI table
In order to play the game, we printed & laminated multiple copies of each region in A3. Participants counted the cells per region. Their time and accuracy was measured and scored.
The "wheres waldog" pictures contain 5 animals hiding within the microscopy image each image.
