KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE AND BUYING BEHAVIOR ON GREEN PRODUCTS AMONG BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION STUDENTS IN ASIA TECHNOLOGICAL SCHOOL OF SCIENCE AND ARTS

In this context, this research study aimed to determine the level and the relationship among the business administration students’ level of knowledge, attitude and buying behavior toward green products in Asia Technological School of Science and Arts.

The findings revealed that level of knowledge of the respondents on green products was revealed to be “very high” with an average weighted mean of 3.60. The attitude of the respondents on green products was “very positive” with an average weighted mean of 3.45. Lastly, the buying behavior of the respondents on green products was “very positive” with an average weighted mean of 3.57. The relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude of the respondents on green products with an obtained Pearson r value of 0.648 is indicative of a moderate correlation. The p-value of 0.000, which is lower than the significance level of 0.01, indicates a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and attitude of the respondents on green products. The relationship between the level of knowledge and buying behavior of the respondents on green products with an obtained Pearson r value of 0.664 is indicative of a moderate correlation. The p-value of 0.000, which is lower than the significance level of 0.01, indicates a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and buying behavior of the respondents on green products. The relationship between the attitude and buying behavior of the respondents on green products with an obtained Pearson r value of 0.789 is indicative of a moderate correlation. The p-value of 0.000, which is lower than the significance level of 0.01, indicates a significant relationship between the attitude and buying behavior of the respondents on green products.
