Description

This Zenodo record documents the formal commitment of L’Europe unie / United Europe (Paris, France; Print ISSN 2780-8173; Online ISSN and ISSN-L 2743-4052) to the principles of the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA).

The public statement was adopted on 28 August 2026. On the same date, the journal submitted its organisational signature to DORA and received formal confirmation that the submission had entered staff review. Approval and publication in the official DORA signatory database remain pending.

Founded in Paris in 2007, L’Europe unie / United Europe already implements the core principles of responsible research assessment through merit-based editorial evaluation, independent double-blind peer review by at least two external academic experts, systematic anti-plagiarism verification, transparent authorship requirements, responsible presentation of citation indicators, article-level DOI identification, Diamond Open Access and publicly available editorial, correction and retraction policies.

The journal evaluates articles according to their originality, methodological rigour, quality of sources, ethical compliance, relevance and contribution to knowledge. Journal-level metrics are not used as substitutes for assessing the scholarly quality of individual articles, authors or researchers.

The journal’s commitment to international editorial quality is further demonstrated by continuous publication since 2007, an international scientific board, a rejection rate exceeding 50%, international authorship and inclusion in ERIH PLUS, DOAJ, EBSCO Political Science Complete, CEEOL, ProQuest, HeinOnline and other recognised academic discovery and bibliographic services.
