Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) and the United States Space Force (USSF)
Authors/Creators
Description
The standalone edition of Flatter's second Thought Leadership white paper defines Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) as it applies to designing and building the Space Force, framing the challenge as integrating sensors, forces, and decision-makers across a shared IT platform to counter near-peer adversaries operating across all domains. It lays out JADC2 requirements at the strategic level (National Command Authority guidance, multi-level-security data fusion), the operational level (component planning, rules of engagement, machine-to-machine data exchange), and the tactical level (kill-chain execution, combat ops and plans). It articulates guiding principles for how USSF and USSPACECOM must achieve unity of effort with combatant commands despite the space domain's unique battle-management demands.
