D7.2 - Midterm recruitment report

Authors/Creators

Description

This document describes recruitment progress of the feasibility study that is meant to explore the use of the SmartCHANGE tools in different real-world health care contexts and identify possible problems with its acceptability and delivery. The study is implemented in five real-world scenarios: four set in different European regions in terms of demographics and socio-cultural environment, and the fifth located in Taiwan to test the potential for transferability to diverse global socio-cultural environments and healthcare settings.

The midterm recruitment report was scheduled for the time point when 50% of the study population were expected to be recruited for this clinical study. As Ethical approvals were delayed for most of the study sites, the 50% recruitment rate was somewhat delayed and only achieved in June 2026.

As of 30/06/2026, a total of 259/500 children and 29/30 health care professionals have been recruited. Future recruitment will be performed during July 2026. It is expected that the final recruitment targets will be reached by July 31, 2026.
