Housing conditions, residents' attitudes and preferences towards investments in multi-apartment buildings in Poland and Czechia: ENBLOC survey and discrete choice experiment data
Authors/Creators
Description
This dataset contains anonymised survey and discrete choice experiment data collected among 7,522 residents of privately owned multi-apartment buildings (belong to housing cooperatives and homeowners' associations) in Poland and Czechia as part of the ENBLOC project. The survey combines conventional questions on housing conditions, household energy-related experiences and expenditures, attitudes towards energy and environmental issues, collective housing governance and respondent characteristics with a discrete choice experiment examining preferences towards collective housing investments. Data were collected using CAWI and CAPI methods between September 2024 and January 2025. The dataset contains 7,522 respondents and five DCE choice tasks per respondent, corresponding to 37,610 choice observations. The public release includes anonymised and harmonised respondent-level and DCE data, codebooks and specific documentation of the survey and experimental design.
