Description

The study aimed to identify effective approaches to the organisational and economic modernisation of the agro-industrial complex under conditions of sustainable development. The research was based on a comparative analysis of management practices and investment strategies in the agricultural sectors of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Tajikistan. Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan significantly outperform other countries in the region across key indicators. Comparison with countries such as Turkey, Chile, and Poland revealed that their models of agricultural modernisation are based on a high level of processing and a focus on value-added products, which remains a challenging benchmark for the Central Asian states.
