Internal Audit Engagement Work in 2026: Evidence from 118 Current Vacancies

  • 1. MTF Institute

Description

This MTF Institute Research Team report analyses a bounded purposive sample of 118 unique current public internal-audit vacancies from 104 employer or advertiser labels, retrieved on 24 August 2026. It examines engagement planning, risk scoping, control testing, evidence and workpapers, analytics and responsible AI signals, findings, reporting and action follow-up.

The archive contains a searchable professional research PDF and the immutable tab-separated accepted-vacancy dataset. The dataset contains derived metadata, public source URLs, analyst screening labels and short rights-safe evidence anchors. It does not reproduce vacancy bodies, employer logos, personal contact data, protected standards, exam materials, audit-firm methods or real workpapers.

The study is a dated public-web sample, not a census or representative estimate. It provides no legal, regulatory, accounting or assurance advice; no credential or standards-preparation claim; no real audit opinion; and no promise of employment, compliance, fraud detection, control effectiveness or risk outcomes.
