Beyond capitalism: The Model of Cooperativism as a systemic alternative towards economic democracy
Authors/Creators
Description
Previous historical attempts to democratize the economic sphere have systematically failed due to the absence of an appropriate financial architecture, while monetary and financial reforms lacking a democratic ownership structure have likewise failed to ensure long-term macroeconomic stability. This presentation breaks through this analytical impasse by introducing cooperativism—a comprehensive, closed systemic model that explicitly integrates radical monetary reform with the foundational principles of economic democracy.
In this talk, I will specifically address and deliver concrete solutions to the major, historically unresolved challenges of implementing a state-issued, interest-free currency. Chief among these is the heavily debated problem of a potential shortage of funds for long-term investment. I will demonstrate how the model of cooperativism effectively resolves this bottleneck through a two-fold architectural design. First, by proposing a structurally closed economic system, the model maximizes the elimination of capital leakage and ensures the efficient, continuous recycling of financial resources directly within the productive economy. Second, I will outline the expected fundamental structural changes the model introduces to the real estate market, which systematically compress the aggregate demand for long-term speculative credit.
Ultimately, this presentation outlines a novel macroeconomic framework that directly combines sovereign money creation with the principles of co-ownership and strict individual responsibility. Moving away from purely utopian or abstract models, this study utilizes a rigorous historical-comparative method, synthesizing institutional theory with empirical experience. Attendees will be presented with a logically consistent, realistic roadmap for systemic economic transformation capable of securing both long-term stability and genuine equity.
