Anonymized Dataset for "From AI Literacy to the Creative Application of AI in Teaching: Serial Mediation through Trust Calibration and Agency Maintenance among Preservice Teachers"

This dataset supports the study entitled “From AI Literacy to the Creative Application of AI in Teaching: Serial Mediation through Trust Calibration and Agency Maintenance among Preservice Teachers.”

The dataset contains anonymized questionnaire responses from 618 preservice teachers. The publicly shared dataset includes 30 substantive questionnaire items (Q7–Q36) measuring AI literacy, trust calibration, agency maintenance, and the creative application of AI in teaching.

To protect participant confidentiality and minimize the risk of indirect identification, respondent-level demographic variables were excluded from the publicly available dataset. No names, student identification numbers, telephone numbers, residential addresses, email addresses, IP addresses, timestamps, questionnaire-platform identifiers, or free-text responses are included. A newly generated anonymous identifier (anonymous_id) is provided for each record.

The accompanying data dictionary provides the questionnaire-item descriptions and response coding. The dataset is intended to support transparency and reproducibility of the statistical analyses reported in the associated manuscript.
