Smart Block - Development of a Building-Centric IoT Network and Services

The aim of the project was to develop the “Smart Block” building-centred IoT system for multi-apartment residential buildings, integrating smart home solutions, building automation and condominium management functions on a single platform. The project resulted in a central database and application server, an administration interface, as well as a central unit installable in individual apartments and its configuration interface. The system can receive, process and transmit data from sensors, meters and control devices installed in apartments and common areas, and can also control connected devices. An Android and iOS mobile application for residents was also developed, providing access to current data and remote control of compatible devices, together with a public web interface serving as a digital notice board to support communication within the residential community.
