Public Holidays Dataset 2026–2027: 100 Countries (CSV, JSON, iCalendar)

A free, machine-readable dataset of national public holidays for 100 countries covering 2026 and, where already officially gazetted, 2027 — 2,664 dated holidays in total.

Each record contains the date, weekday, English name, local-language name where it differs, country and ISO 3166-1 code. The dataset also records each country's own weekend days, which are not Saturday–Sunday everywhere: Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia observe Friday–Saturday, and Hong Kong and Paraguay treat only Sunday as the weekend.

Dates are compiled from official government gazettes and cross-checked against the open-source python-holidays project and the Nager.Date public API. Holidays that follow lunar sightings are marked as estimated and may shift by a day when officially confirmed. The dataset is regenerated monthly as substitute days and new gazettes are published.

Formats: CSV (one row per holiday), JSON (keyed by country), and iCalendar (.ics) files that import directly into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook. Sri Lanka's 2027 Poya calendar is pending official gazette and will be added when published.
