Description
Code-switching—the systematic alternation between two or more languages—is a defining feature of contemporary digital writing. In online spaces, predominantly Russian messages frequently weave in English words, phrases, and occasional full sentences. This study examines how English structural elements are integrated into Russian digital discourse, mapping out the structural typologies of Russian-English language alternation on Telegram.
