Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become one of the most significant technological developments influencing modern education. The integration of AI-powered technologies into educational processes creates new opportunities for improving the quality, accessibility, personalization, and effectiveness of teaching and learning. AI can support teachers by automating routine tasks, providing immediate feedback, analyzing students’ learning progress, and developing individualized learning materials. At the same time, AI-based educational tools can help students acquire knowledge at their own pace and provide personalized learning experiences according to their needs and abilities. However, the use of AI in education also presents several challenges, including academic integrity, data privacy, technological inequality, insufficient digital competence, and the risk of excessive dependence on automated systems. This article examines the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the quality and effectiveness of education through a review of relevant academic literature and an analysis of the potential benefits and challenges of AI integration. The findings indicate that AI can significantly improve educational outcomes when it is used as a supportive tool rather than as a replacement for teachers. Effective implementation requires appropriate teacher training, ethical guidelines, reliable technological infrastructure, and a balanced combination of AI-based technologies and human interaction.
