Description

FORMIND-mHM is a coupled modelling framework, that integrates the individual-based forest gap model FORMIND with the mesoscale hydrological model mHM. The coupling is implemented via FINAM, allowing for daily interactions between hydrological processes and vegetation dynamics.

The repository contains the source code neccessary for the coupling of FORMIND and mHM, technical documentation, model output results, as well as figure scripts. A paper describing the model is currently being written and will be submitted to GMD. The model is under active development and will be further improved in future work.
