A Cosmic Story: The Coming of Technology — Read Aloud Edition contains the complete story alone, prepared for classroom use. It is a screen-free, read-aloud lesson for children ages 6 to 12, written in the tradition of Montessori Cosmic Education. The story traces the arc of human ingenuity from the first stone tool through fire, writing, wind and water power, the Industrial Revolution, and the computer to artificial intelligence, and closes with the questions this generation of children will carry: what is the work that belongs only to humans, and when will we intentionally engage technology?

The lesson requires no screens, no devices, and no technical knowledge to give. It is grounded in Dr. Maria Montessori's concept of Supranatura and in her own writings on technology, and it is offered as a Cosmic Story within Cosmic Education, not as an addition to the Great Lessons canon.
