Higher-Order Block-Structured Prime Magic Squares: Multiples of Order 12

  • 1. Formerly, Professor of Mathematics, Federal University of Santa Catarina, Florianópolis, SC, Brazil

Description

This work brings different ways of representing prime magic squares multiples of order 12. It is based on some central prime constants. These are C0:= 499979, C1:=1000003 and C2:=2000003.  Four different modes are considered. One is concentric blocks of order 12. The second is 3×3 grid different blocks of order 4×4. The third is 4×4 grid of different blokcs of order 3×3. The forth is 2×2 grid of equal sums blocks of order 6×6. All these four blocks are for equal sums prime magic squares of order 12. In the concentric case, equal sums prime magic squares of order 36 with different sums blocks of order 12 are considered. This work also includes the previous work done by the author for prime magic square of order 960 with equal sums blocks of order 12×12 and different sums blocks of order 3×3. The previous work of author on prime magic squares also includes block-structured and/or  block-bordered prime magic squares for the orders 6 to 51. For details see reference list. The higher order concentric single-layer bordered prime magic squares of orders 1222 and 1223 and prime magic squares of orders 960, 1220 and  1024 blocks of orders 3 and 4 are also given by the author. See again the reference list.   For the blocks of higher-order multiples of 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11 and 13 again see reference list.

For more details the excel sheets are also enclosed.
