Abstract
Deep learning is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the metaverse, a collective virtual shared space created by the convergence of virtually enhanced physical reality and physically persistent virtual reality. Its ability to learn from vast amounts of data and make complex decisions makes it an indispensable tool for creating immersive, intelligent, and personalized experiences within this digital realm. The metaverse is a collective virtual shared space created by the convergence of virtually enhanced physical reality and physically persistent virtual reality. It's a concept where users can interact with each other and their environment in a 3D virtual world. Image recognition, object detection, image segmentation, medical image analysis, natural language processing, speech recognition, healthcare and autonomous vehicles are a few examples of applications for deep learning. This survey provides an overview of various metaverse applications and outcomes, as well as an introduction to deep learning.
