D6.14 Final report on clustering activities

Description

This deliverable (D6.14) presents the clustering activities implemented by D4RUNOFF during the second and third project periods (March 2024 – January 2026) and outlines an action plan to ensure their sustainability beyond the project lifetime. Through strategic collaboration with Horizon Europe sister projects, thematic clusters, and established European networks, D4RUNOFF strengthened synergies in the areas of urban runoff management, Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), advanced monitoring technologies, AI-supported decision tools, and the water–health nexus. These activities included joint webinars, policy briefs, awareness campaigns, replication workshops, cluster events, and participation in high-level European conferences. Over time, clustering efforts evolved from primarily awareness-raising actions to deeper knowledge exchange and exploitation-oriented collaboration. This shift enabled the joint development of policy recommendations, strengthened cross-sector dialogue between science and regulation, and enhanced the visibility and uptake potential of D4RUNOFF results among policymakers, research institutions, utilities, and ongoing EU initiatives. The deliverable also defines concrete actions to maintain and expand these synergies, ensuring continuity of impact after project completion.
