This deliverable (D5.6) presents the practical assessment of the replicability of the D4RUNOFF project results. Building on the methodology defined in D5.2 where a theoretical approximation on the effectiveness of the new approaches and techniques developed in D4RUNOFF was elaborated to be applied in specific replication sites selected to theoretically assess the methodology, the work involved direct engagement with initially proposed and newly identified replication sites to evaluate their data availability, stakeholder interest and technical feasibility for future uptake. Ten sites were analysed at different levels of maturity: Algeciras (ES), Gdansk (PL), Ostrava (CZ), Cairo (EG), Pereira (CO), Aarhus (DK), Vigo (ES), Moaña (ES), Redondela (ES) and Pisa Sud (IT). Technical meetings, platform demonstrations and data exchanges enabled an assessment of how the D4RUNOFF tools — including the MCDA methodology and the AI-assisted platform — could be applied in each context. Progress varied significantly depending on communication responsiveness, operational priorities and access to relevant datasets. A cross-site ranking identified five locations with the highest replicability potential and concrete opportunities for future exploitation: Aarhus, Pisa Sud, Algeciras, Moaña and Redondela. These sites showed strong alignment between local needs and the D4RUNOFF Key Exploitable Results, particularly relating to stormwater management and hybrid Nature-based Solutions. The overall lessons learned highlight the importance of repeated outreach, early validation of data availability and communication adapted to the local context. Despite barriers in some international cities, the results demonstrate that the D4RUNOFF solutions are relevant for supporting urban runoff management and provide a solid basis for continued collaboration beyond the project.
