Abstract
This repository contains the mathematical framework, numerical verification scripts, and
observational analyses of Reflective Physics Theory (RPT). The fundamental premise
of this work is not to propose a modified parameter set to compete within the standard
ΛCDM model, but rather to prove that Dark Matter and Dark Energy are invalid,
non-existent mathematical artifacts. By establishing the dynamics of a variable speed
of light c(ρg) governed by localized graviton-density fields, RPT resolves the Hubble tension,
galactic rotation curves, and cosmic acceleration naturally without requiring dark sectors,
unobserved particles, or fine-tuned dark energy densities.
CRITICAL NOTICE FOR REVIEWERS & RESEARCHERS
Core Clarification: Reflective Physics Theory (RPT) does NOT operate within
or extend the ΛCDM cosmological model. It is not an alternative parametrization
designed to fit dark matter halos or dark energy equations of state.
RPT proves that Dark Matter and Dark Energy are complete artifacts
of a flawed fundamental assumption: the assumption that the speed of light c
remains strictly constant in variable gravitational/graviton-density potential fields.
When local and global measurements of light propagation fail to account for the gravitondensity
field ρg, the resulting mathematical discrepancy is misattributed to non-existent physical
entities (”Dark Matter” for flat rotation curves and ”Dark Energy” for cosmic expansion tension).
Once c(ρg) is correctly evaluated, these entities vanish entirely from the field equations.
1 Foundational Axioms of RPT
1.1 The Graviton-Density Field and c(ρg)
In Reflective Physics Theory, the speed of light c is a dynamic scalar variable dependent on the
local graviton density field ρg:
c(ρg) = c0 f(ρg) (1)
where c0 is the asymptotic vacuum velocity of light and f(ρg) encodes the interaction density
of the graviton continuum.
1.2 Structural Compulsion and Elimination of Dark Sectors
1. Invalidity of Dark Matter: Galactic rotation curves flatten naturally due to the refractive
modification of spacetime metric coefficients under localized graviton accumulation.
No dark matter halo (Mdark) is present or required.
2. Invalidity of Dark Energy: The apparent accelerated expansion inferred from Type
Ia Supernovae and the early-vs-late H0 discrepancy (Hubble Tension) arise directly from
treating c as a universal constant across different epochal graviton densities.

3 Key Observational Predictions
RPT provides five explicit, falsifiable observational signatures that distinguish it from standard
GR and ΛCDM:
1. Gravitational wave propagation velocity shifts vgw(ρg) in high-density stellar environments.
2. Precise void-boundary density gradient profiles reflecting c(ρg) refraction transitions.
3. Frequency-dependent time delays in high-energy gamma-ray bursts passing near galactic
cores.
4. Elimination of phantom matter requirements in weak lensing shear maps.
5. Systemically consistent H0 values across early-universe (CMB) and late-universe (z-ladder)
observations when metric scales are calibrated to c(ρg).

2026-08-06This paper proposes that the Hubble tension is resolved by replacing the constant speed of light with a density-dependent field c(ρ) = c₀ exp(−ρ/ρ_crit) in the framework of Reflective Physics Theory (RPT). The model eliminates dark matter and dark energy, provides a physical mechanism for the 4.2σ discrepancy, and makes five falsifiable predictions. A fair comparison with ΛCDM on 38 Cosmic Chronometers data points is presented.
