Description
Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication requires ultra-low latency, high throughput, and robust identity verification to support critical safety, telematics, and cross-OEM cloud interactions. Traditional centralized telematics architectures struggle with high latency overhead during security token validation and experience performance bottlenecks under peak load concurrency. In this paper, we propose a resilient, multi-cloud microservice architecture for V2X telematics brokerage and token management. The proposed platform integrates a short-lived JSON Web Token (JWT) verification pipeline with distributed in-memory caching (Redis) and containerized cloud-native execution (GCP Cloud Run / Azure App Service). Asynchronous message routing is handled via managed Cloud Pub/Sub topics equipped with automated circuit breaker and retry resilience patterns. Experimental evaluations using simulated workloads of up to 500,000 concurrent vehicle connections demonstrate an average end-to-end processing latency of under 35 ms, a 99.99% successful authorization rate, and near-zero service degradation during sudden traffic spikes. This framework establishes an open, scalable model for multi-OEM connected vehicle interoperability and cloud-based telematics management.
