Continuidade Vivida: A Continuidade Vivida como Objeto Científico

This theoretical-conceptual article defines Lived Continuity as the scientific object of the Science of Continuity within the FICND Scientific Program. Rather than explaining the mechanisms of change themselves, the article establishes the phenomenon those mechanisms seek to explain: the recognizable permanence of lived experience while the organization of experience reorganizes and new coherences emerge. It distinguishes Lived Continuity from identity, memory, narrative, personality and substantial conceptions of the self, proposes the ontological triad of Lived Continuity, Organization of Experience and Emergent Coherence, and situates the object within the broader architecture of the program, assigning the mechanism to CREC, the temporal geometry to the Spiral of Reality, and long-term sustainability to Habitability. The article concludes with empirical hypotheses and a research agenda for the scientific investigation of lived continuity.
