D7.2 Plan for Dissemination, Exploitation, and Communication Activities
Description
This deliverable presents the second iteration of the Plan for Dissemination, Exploitation, and Communication Activities of the PSS-Pass project, outlining a structured and forward-looking strategy to ensure that project results achieve both visibility and real-world impact. The document integrates exploitation, communication, and dissemination into a coherent framework, supporting the transition from technological development to market uptake and long-term sustainability.
PSS-Pass addresses the growing need for circular and data-driven manufacturing by extending the Digital Product Passport (DPP) concept towards a Digital Product Service System Passport (DPSSP). This approach enables the integration of product and service lifecycle data, supported by Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twins, and interoperability frameworks. By doing so, the project facilitates enhanced traceability, transparency, and decision-making across Product Service Systems (PSS), contributing to improved sustainability performance and regulatory compliance.
This deliverable presents the exploitation strategy for the project, which focuses on identifying market opportunities, defining target sectors, and positioning the DPSSP as a key enabler at the intersection of Digital Product Passports, Industrial Data Spaces, Digital Twins, and circular economy solutions. The analysis highlights strong market drivers, including regulatory developments such as the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), the increasing adoption of servitization models, and the demand for lifecycle data and interoperability across value chains.
In support of the exploitation strategy and positioning, a comprehensive communication strategy is presented based on digital channels, including the project website, social media platforms, and open-access repositories, ensuring broad visibility and accessibility of project results. Dissemination activities are structured around a cluster-based stakeholder engagement model, targeting policy makers, the scientific community, and industrial actors. This approach maximises impact by fostering synergies, enabling cross-sector collaboration, and supporting the adoption of project outcomes.
The deliverable further outlines the initial business model and strategic partnerships, along with intellectual property rights management procedures required to support the long-term deployment of PSS-Pass solutions. By combining technological innovation with ecosystem development and stakeholder engagement, the project establishes a solid foundation for future commercialisation and scalability.
Overall, this deliverable reinforces the role of PSS-Pass as a catalyst for systemic change in manufacturing, ensuring that its results are not only disseminated but also effectively exploited. Through its integrated strategy, the project contributes to the advancement of circular, service-oriented, and data-driven industrial ecosystems, supporting European priorities for sustainability, digital transformation, and industrial competitiveness.
