The Ontological Dominance Papers: Program Register
Description
This document constitutes the single stable entry point for the The Ontological Dominance Papers program: a ten-work research corpus comprising a survey/context paper, nine theorems formalizing Byrum's Law of Ontological Dominance, and this register. The register performs two functions. First, it establishes the identity layer, assigning a canonical, permanent identifier to each work in the program so that any theorem is citable unambiguously at passage level, independent of the paper from which the citation is drawn. Second, it defines the controlled vocabulary and identifier classes that govern the program's companion document, the proof layer (Section 8), which anchors externally challengeable claims to graded evidentiary sources.
The register is instituted prior to cross-citation activity within the corpus. No citation collisions exist across the constituent works at the time of this register's establishment, and the canonical identifier system specified in Section 2 is designed to preclude such collisions as the corpus is formalized into working papers and cross-referenced.
