Tra conoscenza e competenza andragogica. Educazione degli adulti, discussione e atelier autobiografico nella formazione iniziale docente

This contribution aims to investigate the importance of the theoretical and instrumental resources of adult education within the initial teacher training (regulated in Italy by Prime Ministerial Decree 04.09.2023). In this sense, the presence of adult education in qualifying courses could constitute a set of models and tools that are useful both in practice in school contexts such as CPIA/evening courses and as a means of developing critical reflection. A survey carried out in January 2026 in Emilia Romagna among university professors in the field of education who teach 60 CFU courses highlights the importance of both making explicit reference in the Prime Ministerial Decree to adults learning in school contexts and paying attention to the content and tools of adult education. In conclusion, we propose the outlines of a workshop model based on conversational-autobiographical devices which, when the Prime Ministerial Decree is amended/implemented, could be included in its indirect internship phase.
