This record provides the English translation of the original Japanese preprint published on Jxiv. The study reports a rare case in which long‑standing type 2 diabetes entered long‑term remission following a cerebrovascular event (subarachnoid hemorrhage and left vertebral artery dissection). Using 14 years of longitudinal vital‑sign data, the analysis compares the patient’s metabolic trajectory with established clinical guidelines and suggests that cerebrovascular injury may have reorganized central metabolic regulatory networks
