Evidence gap map of wireless EEG research in children with developmental disabilities

What is this map presenting?

This map displays 68 study–diagnosis pairs from 64 studies identified in a scoping review of wireless EEG use in children with developmental disabilities (DDs). Some studies addressed multiple DD populations and are therefore represented more than once.

How to read the map

Studies are arranged in a matrix by wireless EEG application purpose (rows) and developmental disability (columns). Circle size is proportional to the number of studies. Colored circles represent the specific functional role of EEG data, as follows:

Why was this map made?

This map was created to visualize the distribution of wireless EEG research across DD populations and to identify where critical evidence gaps remain.
