An Four-Term Counterexample to the Special Image Conjecture in Three Pairs

Authors/Creators

Description

An explicit four-term counterexample to the Special Image Conjecture in three contraction pairs, obtained by a one-pair bihomogeneous lift of Christopher D. Long's SU(2) Mathieu counterexample. For f=tau(t-y)(wz+vt) and g=y, the paper proves E(f^m)=0 and [t]E(g f^m)=(-1)^(m-1)(m+1)!m! for every m>=1. Thus the minimum possible failure dimension is two or three.
