Repository Resilience Maturity Model
Authors/Creators
Description
The Repository Resilience Maturity Model (RRMM) is a tool from the Coalition for Resilient Research Data Infrastructure (CRRDI) for assessing and monitoring research data repository resilience integrates existing frameworks and standards, including the CoreTrustSeal requirements, the Earth Science Information Partner’s (ESIP) Repository Crisis Scorecards (RCS), the FOREST Framework, the National Digital Stewardship Alliance (NDSA) Levels of Digital Preservation, and the National Science and Technology Council’s (NSTC) Desirable Characteristics of Repositories for Federally Funded Research. A crosswalk was conducted across these existing works to identify common concepts across frameworks.
The RRMM considers organizational, technical, community, and response capacities and was designed to support both self-assessment and ecosystem-level analysis to support planning, management, and continuous improvement activities, such as repository self-assessment, landscape analysis, and development of monitoring tools such as rubrics and dashboards.
