[volta] Add Volta package manager (installed, install, upgrade, remove), flagged unmaintained since its November 2025 retirement in favor of mise. pkg:npm/ purls now also resolve to it. Addresses #1995.
[mpm] Raise the click-extra floor from 8.6.1 to 8.7.0, scoping mpm's strict-config check to its own pyproject.toml section and forcing telemetry off on a truthy DO_NOT_TRACK.
[mpm] Raise the extra-platforms floor from 13.5.1 to 13.6.0, whose new AlmaLinux detection stops the spurious unrecognized-platform warning mpm printed on AlmaLinux hosts.
[mpm] Bump the in-repo Alpine, Guix, MacPorts and Nix packaging specs to build from 7.4.1, switching Alpine to the PyPI sdist instead of the GitHub tag tarball.
[snap] Fix snap remove failing with error: unknown flag 'color' on recent snapd by no longer appending --color=never, which remove does not accept.
[mpm] Add favicon.svg and banner-social.svg (light/dark PNG exports) as the Sphinx browser-tab icon and OpenGraph image, and switch the readme banner to a dark-mode-aware <picture> element.
[mpm] Refresh the readme's manager Sankey diagram and operation matrix.
