Virtual Machine for education
This CentOS 10-based virtual environment (OVA) template provides an integrated and reproducible scientific computing platform designed specifically for data analysis and simulation in physics.
The system features a preconfigured stack of core scientific software, including ROOT C++, Python with its kernels configured for Jupyter Notebook via VS Code, and Geant4.
Notes:
It is recommended to deploy this environment using Oracle VM VirtualBox along with its corresponding Extension Pack. This virtual machine is configured to use 30 GB of virtual memory. After boot, users are suggested to adjust the display scaling within the virtual machine menu to match their monitor requirements.
