EC Press Corner Complete Document Dataset (1975–2026)

The complete archive of the European Commission's Press Corner — 130,544 documents from 11 March 1975 to 24 July 2026 in a single Parquet file.

Includes every retrievable document across all 32 document types: Commission press releases (IP), speeches, statements, memos, and spokesperson briefings, plus the full RAPID legacy series carrying press material from the Council, the Court of Justice, Eurostat, the EIB, and other EU institutions (legacy series end around 2013–2015). One row per document with reference, type, date, title, and full text; documents from roughly 2014 onward additionally carry commissioners, spokespersons, policy areas, place, and exact publication timestamp.

Built and maintained with the open-source package presscorner-builder, which also documents the data schema. Completeness is verified month-by-month against the EC API. The dataset is refreshed every few months as new Zenodo versions (version scheme: vYYYY.MM = complete through that month; this record: v2026.07, cut-off 2026-07-24). Whatever version you download, presscorner update extends your local copy to the present day.
