Constitutional Physics: Scholarly Positioning and Comparative Literature Review
Description
This publication provides the scholarly positioning and comparative literature review for the Constitutional Physics programme.
It examines Constitutional Physics in relation to established work in philosophy of science, scientific representation, epistemology, testimony and trust, provenance, reproducibility, FAIR research practice, formal ontology, argumentation, software version governance, archival theory and institutional memory.
The review does not claim that the individual concepts or methods of Constitutional Physics are without antecedent. Its purpose is to distinguish established ideas, partial correspondences, later-recognised similarities, technical adoption, methodological extensions and possible areas of constitutional integration.
Its principal finding is that the candidate contribution of Constitutional Physics lies not in any single isolated concept, but in the coordinated governance of the identity, conditions, claim state, provenance, interpretation, residuals and succession of represented scientific understanding across human, institutional and computational contexts.
CP-SPLR-001 is an associated scholarly publication issued in relation to the Canonical Constitutional Record of Constitutional Physics. It is not part of the canonical constitutional state, does not amend the CCR and does not establish the scientific validity, necessity or uniqueness of the programme.
Research, source comparison, analytical structuring and drafting were conducted with substantial artificial-intelligence assistance operating under human-developed Constitutional Physics methods. Constitutional direction, acceptance, documentary classification and publication responsibility remained with Stefaan Vossen.
The work is published under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International licence.
