Description

This document serves as the master terminology and symbol specification manual for the entire Tri-Source System of The Unmanifest Selecting the Manifest. Its task is not to propose new theories or new predictions, but to provide unified term definitions, symbol conventions, citation numbering, layer identification, and reference formatting for all papers within the system. As the Tri-Source System has expanded to over 170 documents, exceeding ten thousand pages and nearly five million Chinese characters, the absence of unified terminology and symbol standards would inevitably lead to confusion in cross-file references and gradual blurring of conceptual correspondences across different papers. This document was established precisely to fundamentally address this issue as a systematic infrastructure tool.

The document contains nine core modules. First, a unified terminology table covering all core concepts including the void, free-state background, static free-state, dynamic free-state, bound state, structural entity, skeleton, shell, stability island, time-rate, gravitational potential, visible skeleton, total dark background, bound-state fraction, low-acceleration unified scale, bare fine-structure value, minimal action bridge, proton-electron mass ratio, first-order weak mixing angle, light release packet, and boundary residual kernel, with Chinese-English equivalents and minimal definitions. Second, a core symbol table listing all frequently used symbols with their meanings, types, and cross-domain conflict warnings, explicitly forbidding naked use of symbols such as a, Ξ, and M without subscripts. Third, a fixed citation numbering system establishing unified identifiers including I-P (Primary), I-S (Synthesis), I-G (General Outline and Terminology), I-Bk (Book), and I-TM (Technical Memorandum). Fourth, a layer identification standard strictly distinguishing the Theorem Layer (T), Bridging Layer (B), and Candidate Layer (C), with clear definitions, permitted phrasing, and prohibited phrasing for each. Fifth, citation suffix tag rules supporting T, B, C, S (Section), and Eq (Equation) for precise citation granularity. Sixth, formula marking standards mandating suffixes such as ^(0), ^(1), ^(cand), _eff, _obs, _loc, and _∞. Seventh, a standardized end-of-paper reference list format for internal and external citations. Eighth, a mandatory structural checklist that every paper must include. Ninth, a document status labeling system supporting statuses such as draft, intermediate draft, initial finalized, official, core floor, system incision, achievement, and external manifestation.

The relationship between this document and the Tri-Source System is that of tool and content: without this document, the system could still be logically valid, but precise cross-paper citation, layer judgment, and symbol consistency would severely degrade. The “falsification” welcomed by this document is not experimental falsification but internal consistency verification—if subsequent papers frequently break these specifications, if term definitions systematically drift, or if cross-file citations cannot be stably traced, then this specification requires revision or extension. This document adds no new physical content, modifies no existing conclusions, and introduces no new predictions. Its value lies in providing an executable, inspectable, and long-term maintainable terminology and symbol floor for the entire Tri-Source System of The Unmanifest Selecting the Manifest.

Regarding language availability, given the vast scale of the complete system, a full translation by a single author is infeasible. This document and the key papers in this volume have been translated in full, sufficient for professional readers to assess the system's logical rigor, explanatory reach, and falsifiability. The remaining volumes are currently published only in Chinese. Scholars with genuine academic judgment can, from the translated portions alone, recognize the structural trajectory of the higher-order propositions and proceed with professional translation or computational tools as needed. This is a constraint of circumstance, not a diminishment of scholarly value. May this knowledge reach the place it is meant to reach.
