Description

The CircleUp project aims to motivate 100 households to adopt circular activities in the domains of textiles,
food, electronics, and packaging by providing a comprehensive intervention package focusing on circular
behaviour change. This document describes the objectives and key strategies that have been used to recruit
100 households across the four countries (e.g., Latvia, Germany, Norway, and the UK).

The document is divided into different sections. First, we provide the reader with a brief background on the
CircleUp project. Afterwards, we describe the need to recruit households and give some background
information on why households are an important target group to focus on when it comes to circular economy
behaviour. Next, the characteristics of the household sample are explained. This section is followed by the
different recruitment strategies that have been have implemented across the different countries. Finally, the
document ends with some preliminary lessons learned to support similar future projects.
