In big country like India where population has crossed the mark of 1.38 billion in year 2020, people are divided on the basis of religion, caste, sub caste,language, region etc. but also united on the issue of nationality. For building strong and progressive nation it is necessary that all the people in India remain united without conflict inspite of small differences. For this we should continue interfaith dialogue to promote communal harmony. These values can not be inculcated in an individual in a day, these are to be embedded from childhood.The best way to acquire these values is to make them part of our education system. Once it become part of our life, we will be easily able to resolve the issues evolved due to religious and communal differences. This chapter discusses the role of school,teachers and curriculum in promoting interfaith dialogue
and communal harmony in country. Various steps have also been suggested needed to be taken in this regard.
