不登校生徒の保護者対応における教員の観察 | Field Observations on Parental Responses to Students with School Refusal

本稿は、小学校教員として20年にわたり通常学級および通級指導教室で児童の支援に携わってきた筆者の観察に基づき、不登校児童の保護者がどのように子どもと向き合い、学校や支援機関との関係を築いてきたかを、4つの類型に整理して考察するものである。対象とした8つの事例を横断的に分析した結果、保護者の対応は、①子どもに寄り添いながら対応を変えていった保護者、②支援を必要としていた保護者、③特性や価値観が子どもへの対応に影響した保護者、④学校とのつながり方に違いが見られた保護者、という4つの類型に分類できることが示された。本稿は、保護者の対応を評価するものではなく、不登校の背景にある家庭の多様な状況を記述し、教員が保護者とどのように関わってきたかを記録することを目的とする。

This paper examines how parents of children experiencing school refusal have engaged with their children and built relationships with schools and support organizations, organizing the observations into four typologies based on the author's 20 years of experience as an elementary school teacher in both regular classrooms and resource rooms.
