Description

These guidelines are intended to support the design of a patient-centred Remote Monitoring Study. To this end, a schedule has been developed that includes recommendations on the process, responsibilities and considerations for Participant involvement during the planning and conduct of a Study.

The guidelines are based on the insights and lessons learned from the IDEA-FAST project and the outcome of discussions during a Workshop on Remote Monitoring and Participant Involvement, organised as part of the IDEA-FAST project in Utrecht, the Netherlands, on 22 September 2023. The guidelines include recommendations on the process, responsibilities and Participant involvement during the Study to be carried out. These recommendations are incorporated into a schedule divided into the various stages of the research process. Each phase includes key considerations, responsibilities and the involvement of the Participant.
