CICLES: CREAF annual report 2025 - Opportunity

CICLES is the annual report of CREAF, a public research center of the Catalan CERCA system. The objectives of CICLES are: (1) to highlight the research that CREAF has carried out during the last year and (2) to offer a vision of its management, successes, challenges, and failures.

Each edition of CICLES revolves around a central theme. This edition revolves around the idea of ‘opportunity’: There's an opportunity to see nature as an indispensable
ally for the country's well-being, resilience and future, and to transform scientific knowledge into action, public policy and tangible change on the ground.
