THE ACQUISITION OF VOCABULARY

Abstract. There is no doubt that structured and well-focused concentration on
vocabulary acquisition while learning foreign languages is beneficial to all L2
learners. Knowing the effective ways of learning new vocabulary saves students’
energy and time. In this article, we will discuss the importance of vocabulary,
successful methods of acquiring it and using words and expressions in contextual
situations.
