Description
The training school "Ethics, Gender, Regulation and Use of Data Training School" brought together international experts and participants to discuss current challenges and future perspectives related to ethics, gender equality, regulation and responsible use of health and genetic data in research activities. The programme addressed several key topics, including:
- Data Protection and the EU regulatory framework
- European Health Data Space
- Informed Consent and Assent
- Gender Equality and Inclusiveness
- Ethics and regulatory aspects of genetic research
- Artificial Intelligence: ethical and regulatory perspectives
The Training School combined lectures, round tables, practical activities and group sessions (available on Zenodo) aimed at fostering interdisciplinary discussion and knowledge exchange.
The event was organised by Fondazione per la Ricerca Farmacologica Gianni Benzi Onlus in collaboration with and hosted by Università degli Studi di Bari in the context of the HELIOS COST Action CA22119.
