Peculiarities Of High-Speed Dynamics Of Two- Photon Absorption In Si Nanowire Waveguides
Authors/Creators
Description
In the dataset, each folder corresponds to one measurement set. Each folder contains a series of number.dat files, where the number in the filename indicates the value of the attenuator (absorber) placed in front of the pulse laser. Each number.dat file consists of two columns of raw oscilloscope data: the first column represents the time reading from the triggering pulse (in ps), and the second column corresponds to the measured light intensity (in mW).
All measurement parameters are recorded in the file experiment0.txt, which is used by the provided data analysis software. The relevant parameters are stored in specific lines: line 9 contains the pulse laser output intensity (in mW); line 14 contains the CW laser output intensity (in mW); lines 19 and 20 contain the wavelengths of the pulse and CW lasers (in nm), respectively; line 6 contains the total optical loss of the pulse laser from its output to the input of the oscilloscope detector (in dB); and line 7 contains the optical loss of the pulse laser from its output to the waveguide input (in dB).
The data analysis program is provided in two formats: LabVIEW (requires a LabVIEW installation) and a standalone .exe format (requires a free driver). Installation instructions are available at: https://www.zayets2physics.com/downloadFromHere.html#LabView.
The data analysis procedure consists of the following steps:
Step 1. Start the program and select the folder containing the raw data. The file experiment0.txt will be loaded automatically, and all measurement parameters will be displayed.
Step 2. Press "Load All". All raw data from the selected folder will be loaded. The central graph displays all measurements simultaneously, while the left graph shows a single measurement. You can navigate through individual measurements using the ">>" and "<<" buttons.
Step 3. Select the desired fit type and press "Fit All" to fit all loaded raw data.
Step 4. To display the fitting results, select the desired fitting data and a varying parameter, then press "Replot". The two graphs on the right are independent and can be customized separately.
