Resonanzbasierte Schulentwicklung: Von der individuellen Haltung zur institutionellen Mündigkeit

  • 1. Independent Researcher | Alumnus: WWU Münster & CAU Kiel

Description

Abstract (Deutsch)

Abstract (English)

This handbook introduces "Resonance-Based School Development," a systemic professional development framework that redefines mindfulness not as an isolated coping mechanism, but as a fundamental, professional attitude embedded in daily educational practice (pp. 3, 5). Addressing the limitations of standardized school mindfulness programs—as highlighted by the British MYRIAD study—this approach synthesizes insights from educational science, sociology, psychology, and organizational development into a coherent practical model (pp. 3-4). The framework is built upon four theoretical pillars: Daniel Kahneman’s dual-process theory (System 1 & 2), Hartmut Rosa’s resonance theory, Otto Scharmer’s Theory U, and the self-determination theory by Deci and Ryan (pp. 5, 7). Furthermore, it consistently integrates the bodily dimension of pedagogical action (embodiment) as a primary sensor for resonance (pp. 7, 18-19).
Structured around the three transformational phases of Sensing, Presencing, and Realizing, the handbook outlines twelve fully operational modules (pp. 3, 13, 22). Each module includes immediately applicable exercises, worksheets, and transfer tasks for school daily life (pp. 3, 24). The ultimate objective is to foster resonant and institutional autonomy, empowering schools to transition from a reactive status quo into vibrant, relationship-oriented spaces of resonance and laboratories for the future (pp. 3, 5, 23).
