Description
Since the rise of mass education and the consolidation of European Welfare States, Spanish educational policy has been a primary driver of economic growth and social productivity. Alongside technological innovation, Arts-based Education and Cultural Awareness and Expression (CAE) have emerged as essential tools for fostering a more inclusive and open society. In this regard, education - alongside technological innovation - has evolved in tandem with society as a whole. Furthermore, Arts-based Education and, specifically, Cultural Awareness and Expression (CAE) have presented new challenges aimed at promoting a more inclusive and open society. Taking these findings into consideration, this summary provides an overview of the state of arts education in Spain.
