Methodological design for case study implementation (PULSE-ART D4.1)

This deliverable presents the PULSE-ART methodology (D4.1), developed under Work Package 4 and coordinated by Waag Futurelab, as a central outcome of the project’s ambition to strengthen Cultural Awareness and Expression (CAE) through arts in education. The primary audience of this document are educators, cultural practitioners and PULSE-ART case study leaders who are planning an inclusive, culturally reflexive, artistic process with youth. As such, this methodology is the reference framework for the PULSE-ART case studies. The methodology addresses the need for shared, evidence-based approaches that demonstrate how participatory artistic practices can foster cultural understanding, inclusion, and lifelong learning among young people across Europe and beyond. Grounded in the project objectives, a review of relevant literature, and nine guiding methodological criteria defined by the project consortium, the methodology functions as an umbrella framework to guide the design, implementation and evaluation of seven diverse international case studies.
