ALETHEIA Truth Compiler: Complete Blueprint for Information Certification, Evidence DNA, and Truth Discovery

ALETHEIA is a proposed local-first, authority-independent infrastructure architecture for verifying whether digital information is trustworthy. The blueprint addresses three growing challenges in the age of AI-generated content: provenance (where did this information come from?), integrity (has it been changed or tampered with?), and truth discovery (what conclusions does the evidence actually support?).

The system introduces three core mechanisms:

• Evidence DNA — a content-addressed, signed, versioned dependency graph that creates a tamper-evident identity and complete lineage for every piece of information from acquisition through every transformation, interpretation, correction, and revocation.

• Information Certification — machine-verifiable statements about integrity, provenance, acquisition method, transformation history, and reproducibility. Certification never claims that signed information is automatically true.

• Bounded Truth Discovery — domain-aware decomposition of claims, routing to appropriate validation methods, contradiction detection, falsification search, genuine source independence measurement, and reproducible Truth Receipts documenting the strongest conclusion justified by available evidence.

ALETHEIA does not appoint any person, government, company, laboratory, AI model, or majority vote as the owner of truth. It makes the method, evidence, dependencies, uncertainty, and limitations inspectable and reproducible.

The 130-page blueprint (65 sections across three parts) covers the complete architecture including metacognition, active investigation, self-improvement, future technology integration, federation, hardening, and delivery specifications.
