Current educational practices have undergone changes in how teaching and learning take place, leading to a redesign of knowledge transmission. These changes have also prompted the integration of emerging technologies not only in virtual classrooms but also in face-to-face settings, with the aim of maximizing learning potential for university students by creating flexible and interactive learning ecosystems (Gómez Rumer, 2025).
