Non-Life Consciousness Parameter X: A Unified Explanation for Double-Slit Interference, Quantum Entanglement, and the Observer Effect
Authors/Creators
Description
This paper proposes a fundamental redefinition: consciousness is not the exclusive property of living organisms, but an underlying physical parameter of the universe — which we designate Parameter X (the X-factor).
Contemporary physics has established precise mathematical frameworks for three core phenomena, yet the underlying "why" remains unanswered:
- Double-slit interference: observation changes the observed particle's behavior — mechanism unknown
- Quantum entanglement: two particles synchronize states instantaneously across any distance — mechanism unknown
- The observer effect: measurement (or consciousness) causes wave function collapse — mechanism unknown
This paper argues that these three phenomena resist unified explanation because physics is missing a fundamental parameter — the consciousness parameter X. When X is incorporated, all three phenomena can be described as different expressions of the same parameter under varying conditions.
We do not attempt to define X's precise numerical value or mathematical form — no one can currently do so. We only demonstrate its necessity and its capacity for unified explanation.
